Pichu's World Normal Oekaki

i do a lot of dA stuff, and i run a group there called Grubblers!

These are a couple of them, mine is the brown one and a friend of mines is the blue one.

So 14 hours later, and a lot of staring and deciding and trying to shade! I finally finished this! I'm sorry this wasn't done before christmas.

Oh. My. Goodness. I CAN'T BREATHE!!! This is such a beautiful piece I'm crying ;v; Thank you so much! This is just oh goodness this is more than I could have asked for you! You captured all my characters in such a cute, charming setting and ALL MY BABIES ;0; First, holy cowww Melody is so pretty in this. I'm in love with her dress! I definitely want that to be a dress option of her because it is GORGEOUS, what lovely lace detail you have on there Q A Q <3333 And just the DETAILS IN GENERNAL ARE BLOWING ME AWAY. And the cute pictures of her on the wall with her friends are the perfect touch ; _ ; Layana is so cute floating on her cloud. She looks beautiful! And you even added Minnie my first character and my first fursona ever! She's extremely cute and you draw her so well I love Mini and Squishy, too who are just the happiest little balls of cute ever! You did a great job of drawing everyone together and making it all fit. I will never forget this in my life and I KNOW WHO YOU ARE THE MINUTE YOU POSTED THIS MY LOVELY NEMBUG MY SWEET DEAR AMAZING FRIEND I AM SO LUCKY. Merry Christmas, hon! ;v; Thank you <3

This turned out absolutely incredible, Nema! The details on Melody's dress are fantastic (my second fav <3), and the amount of effort and love you put into each character really shows! I admit I also love when people throw Easter eggs in the background. x3

So I drew about 3 sketches of your characters and then picked the one I wanted to complete. I really enjoyed drawing her, and I love your characters. We've been friends for a really long time and are one of the reasons I stayed around for all these years. Thank you Pikanyaa. I'll probably be really easy to guess but who knows! My arts changed a little since the last few years. ;)

yes i know my shading technique...i call it spazz...

Well... it's actually not all that bad : D You should just remember that you have to make your light source clear. When you shade around the edges like that, it's called pillow shading. It's not a good habit to get into.

The grass looks nice though. Outlining the blades that touch the bag would help it fit in more with the picture though.

i'll do that next time with the grass.

i'll try different shading styles i usually only use that when pixeling small areas. thankyou i'll try what u said the next time :3
